OptEEmAL Newsflash January 2019

The new year starts with many interesting OptEEmAL events! In January and February, we are organising our first General and Technical Trainings in cooperation with our demo site partners in Lund (Sweden), San Sebastián (Spain) and Trento (Italy) where we will present the OptEEmAL Platform and its benefits to stakeholders and potential users. Besides, the OptEEmAL Project Final Conference will take place in Valladolid (Spain) on 20 February 2019. Save the dates!

The OptEEmAL Platform can support you in finding YOUR best retrofit solution!
Curious to know more? Our general and technical trainings will teach you how the platform works and how it can help you get the job done.

The general training (Day 1) will present the OptEEmAL context and the solution developed in the frame of the project. It will provide a clear view on how the platform works and how it can help you in the design of your retrofitting project through real application examples.

The technical training (Day2) is dedicated to technical staff and will explain the different steps of the OptEEmAL Platform and process. Guided by our OptEEmAL partners, you will explore and use the platform on your own and learn how you and your projects can benefit from it.

The OptEEmAL project is coming to an end and project partners will present the technological challenges they overcame and the great technological achievements the project has made possible! Besides, there will be room for expert discussions and a vivid exchange on energy efficient retrofitting projects

City representatives and city planners as well as interested experts from the energy, architecture and construction sectors are cordially invited to join our OptEEmAL Project Final Conference to learn about the benefits the OptEEmAL Platform offers for the design of retrofitting projects at district level.

About OptEEmAL / Project ID / Contact

OptEEmAL, a project funded under the European Union’s Horizon 2020 research and innovation programme, develops an Optimised Energy Efficient Design Platform able to design energy efficient retrofitting projects that are based on different energy conservation measures to improve the performance of a district. The tool reduces time delivery and uncertainties and results in improved solutions when compared to business-as-usual practices. Under the coordination of Fundación CARTIF, 13 partners from 8 countries are working on delivering an optimised, integrated and systemic design based on an Integrated Project Delivery approach for building and district retrofitting projects.
